Wrist Guard Question

Somewhat dirty player joined our drop-in and made me realize there's some space between my elbow pads and gloves. I'm looking for something that protects so I'm less likely to end up with a broken arm/wrist but still have range of motion.

Someone mentioned EvoShield Protective Wrist Guard, the one with the gel pack that hardens, is that a gimmick or does it offer real protection?

I ordered those Shock Doctor ones you linked to, thanks. The Bauer ones seem too cumbersome IMO.

They are cut proof and the foam padding is removable for easy washing. Just tried them out with a pair of short cuff gloves and the mobility is great too.

I was leaning toward the Evo Shield myself until I saw these.
