MAIN EVENT
Ric Flair (c) vs. Jon Moxley

World Heavyweight Championship Last Man Standing Match

The biggest and best belt in the business is defended tonight, and is defended in one of the most grueling matches a competitor can endure, LAST. MAN. STANDING. The limousine riding, jet flying, perhaps greatest of all time champion puts the championship on the line against the man who might match Flair’s win at all cost attitude, Jon Moxley. Moxley is out to prove he can not only beat the man, but beat him down and have him stay down for good. Flair says Moxley is just a poor Ohio boy who isn’t even worthy to shine his shoes and Moxley says Flair is going to feel pain he has never felt before in his life. The promos between these two to build for this main event have been fantastic, and both men are set to blow the roof off in Philly!

The Alternative Wrestling Federation presents: No Way Out

Live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois with commentary from good 'ole JR Jim Ross.

About:
The Alternative Wrestling Federation, or AWF, is the big new promotion in the world of professional wrestling. Boasting arguably the best roster in the business, the AWF is always adding the best new talent in sports entertainment."

AWF World Heavyweight Championship Match

Chris Jericho (C) vs "Johnny Wrestling" Johnny Gargano

Bios:
Chris Jericho: My Jericho would be the Jericho of the mid 2000s in terms of age, but much more present day Jericho in terms of look (like his shoulder length hair). He wears black tights and a black jacket. His promo style would be that of when he was feuding with Shawn Michaels, serious and slower delivery. There is no Ralphus and there is no list. He's arguably the most established guy in the AWF.

Entrance Theme: Muse "Hysteria"

34265-15402508391538-800.jpg

Johnny Gargano: Otherwise known as "Johnny Wrestling", he's largely the Johnny Gargano we all know. AWF's 2018 Wrestler of the Year, he's risen to the position of #1 contender with blood, sweat and yes, even tears. While he's held every other title in the AWF during his ascension, he's never been AWF World Heavyweight Champion and this is first chance to make that happen. His look is blue trunks with a fitted white tee and a denim jacket with the collar popped of course.

Entrance Theme: Bruce Springsteen "Dancing in the Dark"

JohnnyGargano.jpg

Match:
"Well that music means we've arrived at the main event folks. And here is Johnny Gargano, or "Johnny Wrestling" as the fans have dubbed him and perhaps rightfully so. His story is the American wrestling dream really. I can't think of a more meteoric rise as his which could climax tonight if he can win the World Heavyweight Championship. The fans are certainly behind and again they're singin' along here."

Crowd: "Can't start a fire! Can't start a fire without a spark! This gun's for hire!"

"And here comes the champ Chris Jericho. Arguably the darkest figure in all of the AWF, and that says a lot folks. He may play mind games outside of the ring, but you can bet your bottom dollar that he'll be all business in that ring tonight. Gargano will have to be on his game here because as good as he is Chris Jericho is perhaps deceptively just as good. On top of that Jericho isn't happy with Gargano embracing the "Johnny Wrestling" title."

"They're running the ropes now and Gargano is notably quicker, but oh, Jericho has the power and weight advantage."

"Gargano going for the sunset flip there, but Jericho caught him! Jericho caught him and now it's the Walls of Jericho but Gargano gets to the ropes and gets out of the ring. Here comes Jericho though and a baseball slide there that puts Gargano into the railing."

"And there's a double axe handle off the apron from Jericho and Gargano really needs to get back into the ring here."

"Jumping Senton there from Jericho."

"Gargano misses with kick, but Jericho connects with the Enzuigiri.'

"A patented bulldog from Jericho there."

"Johnny Gargano has taken Jericho to the mat now, and it's a crucifix for one, two, no, Jericho getting out of that easily enough though it surprised him."

"Back in the ring now and Gargano with this forearm shots to Jericho."

"Kick from Gargano there and he follows that up with a roll-up kick from the mat. Jericho isn't used to this folks."

"Amazing reverse Hurricanrana from Gargano there. I can't believe he got him over."

"Suicide dive from Gargano there as he catches Jericho outside the ring but immediately throws him back in."

"And look at this folks, Gargano has Jericho up on his shoulder and it's a lawn dart into that middle turnbuckle! And Jericho rolls out of the ring again."

"Superkick from Gargano there and what's he doing now... And it's a cannonball senton off the apron onto Jericho."

"Gargano with Jericho on the apron outside the ropes here, oh, and the veteran Jericho shoves him into the ring post."

"Jericho back in the ring now, but there's a slingshot spear from Gargano. He's still feeling that post shot though."

"Jericho ducks and a devastating double underhook backbreaker there and Gargano roles out of the ring. Jericho still a bit slow to get back into this and it's a slingshot DDT from Gargano out of nowhere. Johnny Gargano slow to take advantage here, but it's the Gargano Escape! He's got Jericho in the Gargano escape, but they're too close to the ropes and Jericho gets his foot on the rope"

"Gargano with a head of steam here, but Jericho was playing possum and that clothesline nearly took Gargano's head off."

"Gargano on the apron here, but it's a springboard dropkick from Jericho and Gargano goes to the floor."
"Jericho perched here... diving crossbody. Only an early two count though."

"Moonsault off the second rope from Jericho and it's another two count."

"Superplex from Jericho here? Oh, and it's a devastating one."

"What's Jericho doing now... propping Gargano on the turnbuckle... hurricanrana, but Gargano held on to the rope with his leg... Gargano now, looks like the diving flatliner, but no! Jericho caught him with a codebreaker there!"

"Both men at their ebb here as Jericho goes for the Liontamer... but Gargano counters, Gargano flips over Jericho and it's the Gargano Escape again and this time it's in the middle of the ring... Jericho able to get to the ropes again though."

"Gargano, does he have the advantage now? Superkick misses, and it's the Judas Effect and boy did he connect with that one. What's this now. Is it going to be another Liontamer... no, Walls of Jericho, Walls of Jericho and he's got Gargano in the middle of the ring... and Gargano won't tap here... My God he's going break his back... and Gargano isn't moving here folks.. Ref is checking and finally the ref breaks the hold... and Jericho roles him over the for the pin here... and that's three folks. Chris Jericho retains his title and Johnny Gargano could be hurt here. This was a match for the ages and both competitors gave it their all! But just listen to Jericho here."

Jericho: "Who's 'Johnny Wrestling' now? Huh? You stupid son of a *****!"

"And Jericho grabs Gargano here and it's the Walls of Jericho again! Damnit! Get him off ref! Get some help out here! Gargano is going to be seriously hurt after tonight."

Mean Gene: "Now Brian Pillman, hold on a minute here! You've got to be kidding me, you're not seriously taking Kimberly with you, are you? That's another man's wife..."

Brian Pillman as he gets into a car: "That was the... "proposal" Interviewman and I won. Hahaha... you'll hear from us during our honeymoon!"

Kimberly Page screams.

Mean Gene: "Whoa, look out, here comes Diamond Dallas Page. Look out!"

The car drives up the ramp out of the arena with Page running after it.

An Indecent Proposal Match for the AWF North American Championship

"The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman (C) vs Diamond Dallas Page with Kimberly Page

Bios:
"The Loose Cannon" Brian Pillman: That would seem pretty self explanatory, but it isn't entirely. The character and the look are all The Loose Cannon, but the wrestler in the ring is more "Flyin'" Brian Pillman before the injury. The current United States Heavyweight Champion, he's held every other belt in the AWF during his career. The announcement and interview team all fear him because he's so unhinged. He's even got into a fight with a fan who took a swing at him.

Entrance Theme: Moby "New Dawn Fades" w/ lyrics

0*77jDzzOxHxhnIWxZ.jpg

Diamond Dallas Page: Late to professional wrestling Page seems a natural. Still despite his meteoric rise, his age means it's either now or never. His High School sweetheart and now wife Kimberly has been with him every step of the way and is as popular with the fans as Dallas is. She's in the ring at the start of every match. Page is the Page you all know from his big WCW push, wrestling in jeans, the whole nine yards.

Entrance Theme: Bon Jovi "Livin' On a Prayer"

latest

Match:
After ducking Diamond Dallas Page for over a month and denying him a title shot, Brian Pillman made an "indecent proposal" to Page. "I'll give you that title shot DDP, but there has to be a stipulation. If you win, you get the belt. But if I win Kimberly comes and lives with me for week." Infuriated and having none of it, Page declined. However Kimberly surprised DDP and accepted for him saying she knows he'll win and this is the dream he's been working so hard for his whole life and that this is his last shot. There has been clear tension between the reluctant DDP and Kimberly ever since leading up to the match. While the crowd goes wild and sings along ("Whoooooooaa, we're halfway there! WHOOOOOOOA, livin' on a prayer!"), DDP isn't taking Kimberly by his hand for the first time. Pillman's music hits, but then it's cut and Patsy Cline's "Crazy" kicks in. Pillman walks down the ramp with a bouquet of roses to a shower of boos. A big smile on his face doesn't deter him from having a go at some of the fans. Pillman gives the roses to Kimberly and Page goes to the floor after him but Pillman has sucked him in in the process. Later on a clearly distracted and unfocused Page is unable to take advantage of a Diamondcutter off of a flying crossbody from Pillman who wins after delivering a piledriver onto the belt. After the match Pillman grabs a tearful Kimberly off of Page and leads her up the ramp.

INTERVIEW:

Mean Gene: "Well JR I have here with me what I guess is the Undisputed Era's full roster including you Robert Roode. What do you think you were doing hitting your partner James Storm with that beer bottle?"

Roode: "Listen Okerlund, I don't have to explain myself to you or anyone else. However since I'm in a good mood, I'll entertain you. The truth is, James Storm was holding me back from my destiny. Beer Money was a great tag team, but that was thanks to Robert Roode. James Storm's success came from my talent! Well Jimmy, sorry about your damn luck because I've moved on. And now that The Undisputed Era is complete, there are only two things that will happen. Robert Roode is going to become the next United States Heavyweight Champion and The Undisputed Era is going to dominate the AWF."

War Games for the AWF World Tag Team Championships

The Midnight Express (C) with Jim Cornette
vs
Beer Money
vs
The Hart Legacy with Tyson Kidd
vs
The Undisputed Era

Bios:
The Midnight Express: One of the greatest tag teams ever and arguably the greatest tag team in wrestling today, The Midnight Express have dominated AWF tag team wrestling for a while now. The current and now 5 time AWF Tag Team Champions, they've beaten every top team they've faced at one time or another. As talented as they are, make no mistake that under the management of Jim Cornette they will do whatever it takes to win. Think prime Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan like when they beat The Horsemen for the titles.

Entrance Theme: Midnight Express Theme

1*31ROQzIHVxgOiGwORRqt7w@2x.jpeg

Beer Money: One of the best tag teams in the business, Beer Money are in their prime. Having won tag team championships in multiple territories, they've held the AWF Tag Team Title once. As good as Beer Money is, they've been frustrated after their first AWF tag title reign as multiple feuds have kept them from getting title matches. Additionally both Roode and Storm seem primed for singles runs. Think prime TNA Beer Money.

Entrance Theme: Beer Money Theme (w/o lyrics apart from the opening)

oVa6i7X.jpg

The Hart Legacy: One of the most underrated tag teams in the business, the Hart Legacy has won multiple tag team titles in multiple territories. Having been in the AWF for only a year, they've had the Tag Team Championship one time. Feuding with Beer Money of late for the number one contender spot, they're eager to regain the titles from The Midnight Express. Think Hart Dynasty look, but obviously with Teddy in the ring instead of Kidd. DH Smith has the blonde hair, Teddy Hart is clean shaven, Tyson Kidd has a shaved head and nobody is wearing chains. They were black trunks with pink accents.

Entrance Theme: Hart Dynasty Theme

170px-DH_Smith.jpg

The Undisputed Era: Despite the whole stable using this name (the stable being Roderick Strong, Kyle O' Reilly and Bobby Fish), the tag team formerly known as reDRagon is now The Undisputed Era. Kyle O' Reilly and Bobby Fish are just as we know them today. Same black trunks with yellow and the same theme music. Despite being relatively new on the AWF scene they've been tag team champions in every other territory they've ever been in and have won every feud they've had so far in the AWF quickly establishing themselves as Tag Team Championship #1 contenders. Pro Wrestling's next great tag team.

Entrance Theme: The Undisputed Era Theme

NXT-TakeOver-Toronto-Live-updates-results-and-match-ratings.png

Match:
With the likes of The Undisputed Era, Beer Money and The Hart Legacy all challenging The Midnight Express for the Tag Team Titles it's an odd scenario. All of the teams are heels really and they all think they're best tag team in the AWF. Jim Cornette finally tells them "if you're all so damn good and worthy of a shot then you'll have no problem facing the best tag team ever... in a War Games match!" A grueling match that sees each team demonstrate their worth. When Cornette sees the referee taken out accidentally he tries to give the tennis racket to Stan Lane, Tyson Kidd intercepts and takes out Cornette. Looking to do the same Kidd moves to pick up the racket and give it to Teddy Hart, but Roderick Strong is already on his way to the ring and takes out Kidd. Beer Money all of a sudden look in control and James Storm slams the cage door on Strong's hand as he goes to his cooler just outside the ring. He grabs two beers and gives one to Roode. Storm hits Beautifuly Bobby with his beer, but when he turns around Roode hits Storm with his! The crowd is shocked, but Kyle O' Reilly takes advantage and pins Eaton while Roode puts Sweet Stan in a cross armbreaker. Bobby Fish drags the ref over who makes the count to three. The winners and new World Heavyweight Tag Team Champions are The Undisputed Era. Roode then reverses his elbow pad and on the flip side it's the Undisputed Era logo. O'Reilly and Fish celebrate in the ring with Roderick Strong and their newest member, Robert Roode!

Mean Gene: "Ladies and gentlemen, I have hear with me none other than DDP, Diamond Dallas Page, and his lovely wife Kimberly. Now DDP, you have the biggest match of your career tonight against that lunatic Brian Pillman. What are you expecting from your opponent tonight?"

Kimberly: "Nevermind that Gene, I'll tell you what Brian Pillman should expect tonight. Dallas is going to..."

DDP: "Damnit Kim! I told you this guys is crazy and you shoulda never accepted this match!"

Kimberly: "It'll be fine baby. Besides, this is what you've been working for your whole life."

DDP: "Yeah, but you're all that got I babe! If for some reason he wins... I can't talk about this. Get that camera outta here! Get outta here Gene!"

AWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship Match

Kota Ibushi (C) vs Roderick Strong

Bios:
Roderick Strong: The third component that makes up The Undisputed Era, Strong's heel turn goes against the grain of his babyface career. A very successful singles wrestler who has held multiple titles in other territories, he's made a big splash in AWF since attacking Kota Ibushi and forming The Undisputed Era. Think the Undisputed Era Roderick Strong you already know.

Entrance Theme: The Undisputed Era Theme

roderick_strong_custom_2019_png_by_ssjgokufan01_dd7uh7k-pre.png

Kota Ibushi: Arguably the best wrestler in the World today, Ibushi is one of AWF's biggest stars and the biggest star in all of Japan where the AWF is popular as a result. Currently the Intercontinental Champion, he's held every AWF title including a stint as World Heavyweight Champion. Think Kota Ibushi as you've seen him the past few years.

Entrance Theme: Flock of Seagulls "I Ran" instrumental

38ed4-1516299709-800-e1541966815361-696x392.jpg

Match:
Looking to legitimize The Undisputed Era with titles, Roderick Strong targeted Kota Ibushi for his Intercontinental Championship. While Strong is no slouch, there's the thought that he's bitten off a bit more than can chew. However in a match that isn't short of action, Strong holds his own with Ibushi for much of the way. After Ibushi takes control though both Bobby Fish and Kyle O' Reilly take to the ring after the ref is accidentally hit by Ibushi. Despite Ibushi miraculously being able to acrobatically avoid their finisher and get both O' Reilly and Fish out of the match, Strong has enough time to take advantage and deliver and End of Heartache to Ibushi to win the title.

INTERVIEW:
Lance-Storm.jpg

Mean Gene: "Lance Storm, you just survived a brutal encounter with Shelton Benjamin and Alberto del Rio in that ladder match for the United States Heavyweight Championship. How..."

Lance Storm: "If I could be serious for a minute Gene Okerlund, it's the Canadian 105kg and over Championship in accordance with the Canadian metric system. It's not my fault you don't understand the metric system. It's not my fault the best wrestlers are from Canada. It's not my fault that I'm best technical wrestler on Earth. You know what else Gene Okerlund, the AWF fans have tried to keep me down. Alberto del Rio has tried to keep me down. Shelton Benjamin has tried to keep me down. Shelton Benjamin's... "momma" has tried to keep me down. However I bring honor and dignity to this title just as I've done again tonight."

Ladder Match for the AWF Canadian 105kg and over Championship

Lance Storm (C) vs Shelton Benjamin vs Alberto del Rio

Bios:
Lance Storm: Pound for pound one of the best wrestlers in the AWF and indeed the World, the Canadian national, or perhaps nationalist, Storm is a very "serious" opponent for anyone. Storm has proclaimed himself the best technical wrestler on the face of the Earth. The current United States Heavyweight Champion, he's renamed the title in accordance to the metric system to the Canadian 105kg and over Championship complete with the Maple Leaf instead of the stars and stripes on the title belt. Think WCW Lance Storm complete with the Maple Leaf tights.

Entrance Theme: Lance Storm Theme from WCW

16.jpg

Shelton Benjamin: Much like Lance Storm, Shelton Benjamin is pound for pound one of the best wrestlers in the AWF. His stated dream is to some day be the United States Heavyweight Champion. With Benjamin proving to be unsuccessful in getting a title shot and in an effort to steer Benjamin to glory and help her son realize his dream, Shelton's momma has begun to act as his manager. Think prime WWE Benjamin but with red, white and blue trunks.

Entrance Theme: Shelton Benjamin Theme "Ain't No Stoppin' Me"

Shelton-Benjamin-Momma.jpg

Alberto del Rio: The wealthy Mexican aristocrat, del Rio is a newcomer to the AWF. As arrogant as he is rich, del Rio has boasted how he possesses more honesty and integrity than his Canadian and American rivals Storm and Benjamin. He has vowed to win the United States Heavyweight Championship which he will rename "El Oro del Mexico". Think prime WWE del Rio with a white silk scarf and white trunks.

Entrance Theme: Alberto del Rio theme

250px-Alberto_Del_Rio_RAW_2012.jpg

Match:
After having renamed the United States Heavyweight Championship the Canadian 105kg and Over Championship, Lance Storm found himself challenged by newcomer Alberto del Rio and at the insistence of his momma newly confident Shelton Benjamin. The only solution, a ladder match with the belt hanging above the ring. After a bruising affair that takes it's toll on all the competitors as well as Shelton Benjamin's momma who feinted after he flew off the ladder and out of the ring, Lance Storm was able to successfully retain his title.

CUT SCENE:

Jim Ross: "Well folks, our cameras are out somewhere in the city of Chicago here. Well that looks like an old church. Who's that though? It's Abyss! He's got that Million Dollar Belt and DiBiase's briefcase too. But what's he doing? Oh my God, he's just leaving them at the doorstep of that church! He's giving it away to the church! DiBiase is going to lose million here and it serves him right."

Public SILAS Announcement:

"You know how when you go to Starbucks and you can't decide between a Latte macchiato and a Cafe mocha? Your'e in line and the server is looking at you and the barrista is waiting to get the order and you just can't decide. You guys know what I'm talkin' about right? You know. Well I don't. Only pansies go to Starbucks and drink that ****."

INTERVIEW:
hqdefault.jpg

Mean Gene: "JR, I have here with me none other that Jim Cornette, manager of the World Tag Team Champion Midnight Express, and Jim Cornette what were you thinking when you called for tonight's War Games match against those other great teams?"

Jim Cornette: "Well Gene if you listen for a second I'll tell you what the hell I was thinkin'. What I was thinkin' Gene was that the Midnight Express is the best tag team to ever grace the AWF much less any other promotion as these belts here prove. We've beat every other team out there. Beautiful Bobby and Sweet Stan are the best team in the business. It ain't braggin', it's a fact as these belts prove. You wanna talk about Beer Money, well their damn luck ain't workin' so well seein' as how they can't beat us yet. And the Hart Legacy might have been a big deal in Canada for a number of years, but if they would have graduated High School in four years instead of eight years they might actually have a legacy outside Canada to write home about. That just leaves the Undisputed Era. Well lemme tell you somethin' Gene, the only thing that's undisputed is that they've not done a damn thing here in the AWF. So don't tell me about great tag teams Gene. There is only great tag team and that's The Midnight Express!"

Mask vs Hair Match (non-title match)

Mil Mascaras (C) vs El Gringo Loco, "Love Machine" Art Barr

Bios:
Mil Mascaras: The man of a thousand masks, Mascaras is the most popular Mexican wrestler in the business. Pioneering the "lucha libre" style in Mexican wrestling, he's now graduated to the AWF where he is the reigning Cruiserweight Champion. Still he has an impressive physique for that division. Not only a high-flyer, he's also a sound technician in the ring. Think prime 70s Mil Mascaras donning white and silver trunks with black tights and a silver and white mask with black accents.

Entrance Theme: Los Lobos' version of "La Bamba"

latest

latest

El Gringo Loco, "Love Machine" Art Barr: A terror in Mexican wrestling, Art Barr was the most successful "gringo" in the history of Mexican wrestling. Despite his success he was hated by most fans for his disparaging remarks about Mexico and any of his Mexican opponents. Still his talent is undeniable and he had multiple championships. A skilled technician as well as a high-flyer, he also isn't afraid to mix it up much less bend the rules. This is the maskless Art Barr of Los Gringos Locos.

Entrance Theme: Heart "Magic Man"

f98669afa3dd-600x338.jpg

Match:
Soon upon on his arrival to the AWF, Art Barr set his sites on Cruiserweight Champion Mil Mascaras. Barr claims to be the best wrestler to ever come from Mexico since he "beat everyone down there and embarrassed them by taking all their masks." So he challenged Mascaras to a mask vs hair match. Barr is so serious that he said it would be a non-title match too since after he takes Mascaras' mask the champion will run back to Mexico and leave the title behind for Barr. An action-packed and high-flying match sees Barr beat Mascaras, but when he goes to take off the mask of the fallen champion and show his prize to the crowd, Mascaras roles out of the ring still wearing a mask as he had a second mask on underneath, a Dia de los Muertos mask. Barr turns around to see this as the fans cheer for Mascaras and is infuriated that he's been duped as Mascaras walks backwards down the ramp his title in tow.

Promo:
Jim Ross: "Now folks we've got another message from an AWF newcomer who introduced himself last week on Raw."

"Hello all you people. It's ole' Waylon Mercy again. I'm just enjoying this beautiful Sunday weather outside this here peaceful church. All those people just came out of the church and they all are smilin' and enjoyin' their day. But let me tell you something. Those people are God fearin' people who know their lives are in his hands. Well when I get into the ring in the AWF. Heh heh heh. My opponents lives are gonna be in my hands. You know what I mean?"

AWF Television Championship Match

Kevin von Erich (C) with Fritz von Erich vs Jeff Jarrett with Jerry Jarrett

Bios:
Jeff Jarrett: Pro wrestler and country recording artist, J e double f J a double r e double t is an AWF original. He's enjoyed his fair share of success in the AWF as he's held both the United States and Television Championships. A well-rounded wrestler, Jarrett has both the skill to win and the willingness to do whatever it takes. Jarrett isn't lacking in confidence or arrogance either as he's proclaimed himself the best wrestler in the World before. Think WCW Jarrett while he was with the Horsemen.

Entrance Theme: Jeff Jarrett WCW Theme

jeff-jarrett-wcw.jpg

Kevin von Erich: From Texas' famed von Erich family, Kevin hasn't been in the AWF long. He enjoyed instantaneous success though winning the Television Championship in his first title match. No stranger to success, von Erich has won multiple titles before he got to the AWF including the WCCW World Heavyweight Championship. Tough, technically sound and a high-flyer, von Erich is a tough opponent for any competitor. Think prime WCCW Kevin von Erich, barefoot and black trunks.

Entrance Theme; Ted Nugent "Stranglehold"

Kevin+Von+Erich.jpg

Match:
Jeff Jarrett isn't happy with Kevin von Erich being the World Television Champion much less with his presence in the AWF. Double J not only thinks a wrestler of his ability coupled with his country music singin' prowess should be getting the television time, but he's also sore that his father Jerry Jarrett had to sell his TNA wrestling business after taking on what he says was the von Erich's toxic asset World Class Championship Wrestling. Defending not only his title to all comers but also his family's honor, Kevin von Erich has accepted Double J's challenge to the match. In the build up to the pay-per-view both Jerry Jarrett and Fritz von Erich have gotten involved though. During the match Kevin von Erich, being held by Jerry Jarrett after Double J knocked Fritz von Erich off the ring apron, ducks Double J's guitar shot which instead lands square on the elder Jarrett's head. After getting Fritz's boot and planting on Jeff Jarrett's forehead, Kevin von Erich gets the pin via The Iron Claw after Fritz rolls the referee into the ring.

Singles Match / Debut Match

The Billion Dollar Heir Ted DiBiase Jr with Virgil vs Reverend Christopher Park

Bios:
READ MATCH COMMENTARY BEFORE READING REVEREND PARK'S PROFILE. The "Billion Dollar Heir" Ted DiBiase Jr: One of the richest men in the World and the richest man in professional wrestling, Ted DiBiase Jr is his father's son. Hated by almost the entire AWF universe, he's leveraged his vast wealth to get matches and even titles during his time in the organization. Still he's a very talented and well-rounded wrestler who can match up against any opponent. Accompanied to the ring by his bodyguard Virgil and his Haliburton briefcase which holds cash, gold bars and FL-rated diamonds. Think prime WWE Ted DiBiase Jr, he wears black tights with gold leaf detailing.

Entrance Theme: Pink Floyd "Money"

virgil00.jpg

The Reverend Christopher Park:
READ MATCH COMMENTARY FIRST. Having only arrived to the AWF a few weeks ago, Reverend Park is a completely unknown quantity to the AWF universe. As his name Christopher denotes, he's a follower of Christ and wants to make wrestling entertainment about sporting aspects and fair play so that it's consumable for everyone. However being the newcomer he seemingly is to the business he's thus far had trouble finding his feet and seems frustrated with the lack of progress he's made. Think Joseph Park from TNA, but when he goes to the Abyss looks he's TNA Abyss but the mask does not have the hair extensions and he's wearing a less generic looking attire.

Reverend Parks Entrance Theme: A somber "Amazing Grace" with only female vocal

Abyss Entrance Theme: Abyss' TNA Theme

Match:
DiBiase and Virgil are the first to the ring. A microphone in hand, DiBiase calls for The Reverend to get out here so he can get this match and Park's career over with. Then the music hits... Abyss' music. DiBiase's face is one of shock as Jim Ross on commentary can't believe it either. "Oh my God! Abyss hasn't wrestled in a year and the wrestling World didn't know what happened to him after he left his previous promotion! This Reverend Park is Abyss?!?!!!" DiBiase tells Virgil to meet Abyss on the ramp, but that only leads to Abyss Blackhole Slamming the bodyguard. Despite a comeback effort after the initial beating he took, DiBiase can't overcome the monster and Abyss wins by pinfall after a Shock Treatment to the Billion Dollar Heir. Before Abyss heads up the ramp he takes the Million Dollar belt and the Haliburton briefcase.

Promo:
Jim Ross: "We've got another new AWF talent to introduce you to here folks and he hails all the way from Germany. The AWF is definitely bringing in the best talent from across the World."

hqdefault.jpg

"ACHTUNG! ACHTUNG! Hier ist Alex Wright! Ich bin von Deutschland. Oh wait, I forgot who I was speaking too. You stupid American people only know one language and you can't even speak it correctly. That's OK though, because Alex Wright ist on his way to ze United States and ze AWF to educate you dumbkopfs. I'll also be teaching your stupid American wrestlers how to wrestle."

Jim Ross: "Good Lord, ain't he special."

INTERVIEW:
Blast93TEC42.jpg

Mean Gene: "Ladies and Gentlemen, I have Lord William Regal with me here and Lord William I wanted to ask..."

Lord William Regal: "Ahem, Alfred, why does this man think I would grant him an interview?"

Alfred: I don't know Lord William why this is so difficult for Mr Okerlund to understand."

Regal looks at what Mean Gene is wearing and shakes his head.

William Regal: "And what pray tell is he wearing? How does one expect to conduct an interview looking like that? Sir, you clearly need to find yourself a Saville Row tailor. I would recommend Geeves and Hawkes."

Mean Gene: "Well I never...."

Alfred: "Sir, how are you feeling after your lovely poetry reading and sublime performance in the ring against that Kanyon fellow?"

Lord William Regal: "Firstly, what kind of name is Kanyon? He doesn't even attempt to spell it correctly. While I was certainly always going to come out victorious in both regards, it was absolutely dreadful. Not only was he an ill-mannered fellow who besmirched me as though I were some sort of commoner, he didn't even wear a jacket. And Alfred, did you see him put his filthy, stinking hands on me? Did you see the dirt under his fingernails? As soon as I take a bath I will be boarding a plane so that I can have an audience with her Majesty Queen Elizabeth at her country estate Balmoral. Wait until she hears what that man's idea of poetry was. She'll be appalled I can assure you of that. Now come along."

AWF Sunday Night Heat Pre-show

Poetry-reading Competition and Match

Lord William Regal with Alfred vs Kanyon

Bios:
Lord William Regal: An English aristocrat whose family has ties to her majesty the Queen herself, Regal's supreme intelligence matches his technical wrestling ability. Don't let his composure and manners fool you though, Regal can go toe to toe with anyone. He's also held multiple titles including the AWF Intercontinental Championship and the AWF Television Championship. Lord Regal sees it as his duty to not only educate his American audience about the art of wrestling, but also about history, the English language, proper etiquette, gentlemen's tailoring, equestrian sports, personal hygiene, haute cuisine, etc, etc. Think Lord Stephen Regal, who when he's not in the ring only wears the finest in Saville Row tailoring, but who when he makes his way to the ring wears a classic morning suit tail coat in charcoal chalk stripe with burgundy trunks. Alfred (Lord Alfred Hayes) is his personal valet.

Entrance Theme: Lord Stephen Regal Theme

William-Regal-Steven-Regal.jpg

Johnny Kanyon (Kanyon): Being one of the best technical wrestlers in the business today perhaps is why Kanyon is so confident in his ability. Who better than Kanyon? The very New Jersey native's pedigree in life doesn't match his pedigree in the ring however. Easily distracted by multiple feuds, perhaps he should have had more title reigns other than his relatively short reign as AWF Television Champion. Think WCW Kanyon, with black tights and a denim jacket with the sleeves cut off.

Entrance Theme: Iggy Pop "Lust for Life"

kanyon95.jpg

Match:
Lord William Regal who wishes to not only embarrass Johnny Kanyon and demonstrate that he is better than Kanyon, but he also looks to enlighten the ignorant American crowd. After Regal's engrossing recital of a part of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, it's Kanyon's turn. "Roses are red, violets are blue, poetry sucks and Lord Regal does too!" leads Regal to jump Kanyon and begin the match. After a real show of technical skill, Lord Regal is able to overcome Kanyon's dirty hands sullying him and win the match making it a double victory.

Public SILAS Announcement:

"The other day I came home and my nephew was listening to music on his headphones. When I asked him what he was listening to he said 'rap music'. He asked me if I could rap and I told him I could. He said 'can I hear some?' I said 'yeah, sure'. 'Rap, is crap.'"

Debate and Match

The Ugandan Giant Kamala with Kim Chee vs Harvard Graduate Chris Nowinski

Bios:
Chris Nowinski: Harvard graduate and collegiate champion Chris Nowinski is the self-proclaimed smartest man in the AWF. Recently arrived to the AWF he's looking to apply his Ivy League education and make a name for himself in wrestling with both his intelligence and in-ring ability. Nowinski is adept on both the debate stage and in the wrestling ring. Think WWE Chris Nowinski, Harvard letterman's jacket and red trunks.

Entrance Theme: Chris Nowinski's first WWE Theme

1Yf6CHG.jpg

The Ugandan Giant Kamala: Hailing from the jungles of Uganda, Kamala is a giant of a tribesman. One of the best big men in all of wrestling, he's an experienced wrestler who has held multiple titles in multiple territories. Despite his size, Kamala is very agile and has his own unique style. He is always with his handler, Kim Chee, as the World outside the jungle is still a culture shock. Think prime Kamala, mid 1980s, around the time he was challenging for the WWE Title.

Entrance Theme: Kamala's WWE Theme

BvbNAaxCMAEkm0l.jpg

Kim Chee: Kamala's handler, think the Kim Chee you alread know, in full safari garb including the hat whilst also wearing a mask.

Kimchee_-_Steve_Lombardi_02.jpg

Match:
Touting his Harvard education and telling anyone who will listen or who won't listen for that matter that he's the smartest man in the AWF, Chris Nowinski has been challenging his AWF peers to debates followed by matches. In his first debate Nowinski beat R-Truth in a contest about the evolution of the market economy in the Southern states prior to the Civil War. For the pay-per-view Nowinski has challenged Kamala to debate about the problems of economic development in Uganda since the reign of Idi Amin. While the debate proves to be a very one-sided affair, the match is a different story. Still Nowinksi gets the upper hand after the ref is accidentally taken out of the ring by a Kamala chop that was meant for Nowinski, but the Harvard alum took advantage and punched Kamala while wearing his class ring. Kim Chee however intervenes and lands a series of moves including a fantastic hip toss, a jumping corkscrew kick, a spinning shoulder block and finally a face plant to the amazement and delight of the crowd. Kim Chee then rolls the ref back into the ring just as Kamala lands a splash off the top rope. Kamala wins by pinfall. In the celebration Kim Chee removes his mask to reveal that he's actually none other than... R-Truth! As his music hits and he's singing "what's up?" with the crowd, a confused Kamala looks agitated. Realizing that R-Truth isn't Kim Chee he attacks Truth. He then makes his way outside of the ring looking confused as he sets out to find his handler. As R-Truth lay in the corner he pulls a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and lights up content in the fact he got his revenge on Nowinski.

Went with lesHabs here. Very creative and good stories. The only element I straight up don't like is the booking of a preshow. I view preshows as a cancer of wrestling PPVs.

PeterSidorkiewicz has several wrestlers that I like and it's a solid card. Les Habs also has several wrestlers that I like, but the good work with the entertainment value added makes it a pretty easy vote for me.

Haha, I have to say that in watching a Pillman video over and over again I always laugh at this clip of him offering a handshake. 3:33

Anyway, while perhaps you're premature the honor and privilege was also mine sir. The voting that I'm seeing here doesn't do your card justice and when the first round dropped yours stood out to me right away as one of the better ones. In fact you drafted so many guys that I like or would draft myself that I think pretty much every one of your matches has someone I'd want to see.
