How many were suspended? And how serious was WWE (WWF) about using steroids?

Reading about Shawn Michaels, he also was suspicious:
In September 1993, Michaels was suspended for testing positive for steroid – a charge he never admitted. On WWF programs, his suspension was explained by his having neglected to defend the title often enough

Ultimate Warrior, Sid, and Davey Boy Smith were suspended/released due to steroids in 1992. The steroid trial around that era made WWF take steroids somewhat seriously for a few years, though WWF gave the wrestlers months to get clean when the testing started. There were also several wrestlers suspended for steroids and other drugs back around 2007. Some of them are listed here:

He was in that scandal a few years ago but I think he was never proved guilty.........

And since it's Roman you know that wwe would need 100% proof like him taking a needle in his ass on camera while carrying the belt to actually punish him in a big way.

If I remember correctly that wasn't steroids, but rather Adderall.
