this is a message board. I know- want fans opinions etc... surprises.

Chabot and De Melo are playing well. Duchene and Stone are playing to earn big raises (Duchene is hot as nesrly anyone in the league right now). Dzingle also realizes hes a free agent soon.

Oh that and Ottawa is playing to score and isn't too interested in protecting their own net. I believe they are last in the league in goals against.

And still -14 in goal differential

Stone and Duchene both UFAs piling up the points in a contract year knowing they won't make the playoffs they're leaving their goalies hung out to dry

Duchene and Stone are auditioning for big contracts. It's probably their last big contract and they want to look as tradeable / signable as possible.

Early in the season, I hated them because of the "Karlsson always hurt them!" narrative and the narrative that Tierney and DeMelo were these great players that the Sharks should have kept. But they're a fun team and over the course of time, I've grown to root for them.

If Tampa or Toronto was playing the same we-don't-care-about-defence-or-wins system they would probably have 150 goals+ by now. And anyway, their GAA is way more wow than their GFA

Sens got no defense... it’s run and gun... hope for the best

They have a bit of the vibe of last year's NY Islanders. Fun to watch and fantastic offence, but a tire fire defensively.

they draft well

white batherson chabot ...

White's a name that hasnt really received any recognition but he's be just as good as Tkachuk imo. Batherson needs some confidence.

Idiotic post. If you think Mark Stone is 'hanging the goalie out to dry' you havent watched the sens play 1 game. He is the best defensive winger in hockey..

They’re putting up a shocking about of offense. Duchene has been on fire but unfortunately he took a weird injury last night. Hope he’s okay. Stone is incredible though that shouldnt come as a surprise. Both of those guys are getting paid this offseason. Looks like scoring by committee after that. They have a bunch of guys with 3+ goals.

Now if they could just figure out defense/goaltending...
