Replacement players, no.

Replacement owners? Hell yeah!

Remember, the owners locked out the players. The players didn't strike.

Well if that isn't the biggest over-simplification of a complex issue in the history of the planet, I don't know what is.

Anyway, isn't the question of replacement players a moot point?

I think this opinion is more representative of an NHL fan than a hockey fan. Along with not being the fan of a specific group of players, a true hockey fan wouldn't be a fan of a specific league.

You are wrong. I have more interest in the upcoming memorial cup tournament than the world championships. I am a hockey fan first, an NHL fan second.

I think it all depends on price. But that's true of the 'real' NHLers as well. I wouldn't pay the asking price lately to go to see the NHL live, regardless of if it was Mike Modano or Francois Leroux on the ice. I would renew my Bell Expressvu Center Ice package to watch though, even for replacement players.
