Would Ovechkin's 2nd peak be enough to get him into the Hall of fame?

Three 50 goal seasons and a 49 goal season, plus 32G in 48GP in the lockout year in an era where only a handful of guys a year even hit 40. I think absolutely he would, especially because he'd presumably have excellent KHL counting stats as well.

What a special talent. We've been so lucky to get to watch him, Crosby, and Malkin all at the peak of their powers. And just as those guys start to hit the back 9 of their careers we get McDavid and Laine entering the league.

IMO Laine isnt even close to the aforementioned 4 guys you mentioned. MacKinnon is a bigger talent than Laine.
