Ryan Miller has a 2.29 GAA and .941 save percentage - and a record of 0-4-0.

People complain that Miller stares down his d-men after they goof up? He should rightly be sporting a perma-scowl at this stage.

Miller is a stud and still has 5 or more years of that left in him. Hopefully someone who is on the up and up who needs a goalie trade us for him. They will instantly become a playoff team. *Cough* Oilers.

Oilers will retake the throne.

The only reason Tambellini got fired was because he failed to deliver the 1st overall pick. MacT will get it for them again.

Their numbers early on are horrible, and they're worse in person than on paper, despite strong goaltending. Imagine how bad they'd be without Miller this year. Of course, it is only October. I have no doubt Buffalo will continue to suck this season, but we're a long ways from WOAT territory.

January 23, 1944: Detroit 15, New York Rangers 0
November 8, 1985: Edmonton 13, Vancouver 0

That was right in the midst of Vancouver's NHL record 15 consecutive losing seasons. Sure, they were never the absolute worst in any of those season (which was part of the problem, a 1st OA pick or two might have helped), but they were hopeless and pointless for a long long time. A flukey 1982 SCF appearance notwithstanding.

The franchise is still under .500 all-time, largely due to those seasons... and their expansion years... and the Keenan regime... and

sigh

Enroth should have beaten four teammates with his blocker after that Minnesota end-to-end goal tonight. They would all have deserved it.

Buffalo is horrible, putrid...and I'm a big fan. I really don't think they win 10 regulation games this year. Defiintely the worst Sabres club i've seen assembled in 30-35 years.
