I don't even?
I thought it was the right call.
I can't even comprehend how they make that call.
That was in no way goaltender interference. Tough break, Oilers.
That is one of the worst calls this season, for sure. Wow.
I am neither a Edmonton or Calgary fan and I just turned the game off after the goal was disallowed. It just sucks the fun right out of the game
edit: here I quickly made a video (shows 3 different angles)
editx2: Here is McDavid SO winner. Wants the ref to check to be 100% certain it is a good goal
This league needs to explain what is Goaltender Interference and what isn't.
Hate the oilers and hope they lose every game, but that was an awful call.
it sets a bad precedent to make that call. mcdavid had nowhere to go, it was a simple a drive to the net.
i kinda see it from both sides but they will need to be careful with that rule
That would require them to have a ****ing clue what it was.
That was pretty bad. GI should have it's own stickied thread at this point.
Can anyone post a video. Can’t imagine it’s worst than the Matthews one
That was really bad, he barely clipped his stick.
Some folks claimed McDavid dragged his blocker but I'd love to see the video again.
Honestly based on what's been called goaltender interference lately, I understand the call because none of these make sense.
Glad a huge spotlight is finally shining on this disaster.
The NHL's overemphasizing on replays has dumbed down the game.
Yeah... not the best call. Not enough there to overturn the call.
Yeah pretty **** call
In overtime? Find me a worst call in history.
As bad as it is, this was more goalie interference than some of the calls i've seen this season.
That should tell the whole story.
It's infinitely worse.
Need some rules either changed or cleared up and clarified.
The overhead view shows the goalie had at least a second or two for stromes shot. Pretty much mcdavid nicked the stick but didn't run into the goalie.
I honestly cant figure out why people are so certain that that should be a goal. McDavid's skate dragged the goalies blocker and dragged him out of position, right where the puck ended up going. its goalie interference
That really worries me going forward. Dangerous precedent. Losing an OT winner because of that is preposterous.
Nice quick whistle too.
Separate names with a comma.
