Why wouldn’t that be a problem? If he needs a franchise talent to put up numbers than that's a pretty big problem. There are plenty of better options at 8 all of which can make there own offense.

From everything I've seen and read, he seems like a Travis Konecny-lite without the goal scoring touch. Would rather have a pick like that in the later 1st round, to early second round - around where Konecny went.

I voted Caufield too, but I'm very curious to see where Kaliyev goes and how he develops. Super polarizing prospect but man can the kid shoot the puck.

I was high on Cozens a month ago, but Newhook is the real deal. It will be interesting as I don't see any mock that is close to the same, so much can happen. I would rank them Newhook, Turcotte (probably won't be there) Cozens, Caufield, Podkolzin, Krebs, Dach for who I think might be around at 8. I don't want them to take Boldy, skating and lack of compete.

He can score give me’s while playing with top 15 talent around him. He has a really accurate shot but it’s still one that lacks velocity and is going to be stopped at the NHL level.
