Hello everyone,
A little preface before I get started...A little over a year ago I created a thread showcasing our hockey group and to promote hockey games at Greenlawn Park for people around Ottawa who love hockey and wanted to get a little more active at the same time.
On the weekend of June 5th, our group will be hosting our 2nd annual ball hockey tournament at Greenlawn Park roughly 3 weeks away from today.
We are looking for 4-8 teams to fill out our bracket which will begin with a timed round robin (20-30 min) and the finals will be a bo3.
Registration for this tournament begins today and will end by the end of May.
You can have up to 10 players on a team, however there is a 1$ fee per player. Team fees due at the end of the May and are refundable if your team drops out randomly. Scheduling will be done closer to the end of May and beginning of June.
If you don't have a team but still want to join, comment below and maybe you can join an existing team that needs an extra player. There is a free agent pool that currently stands at about 15 players.
The games themselves will most likely be 4 on 4 + a goalie.
