I thought the WNBA given when their season is would just practice out of their NBA’s team facility since it’s mostly the same owners of both clubs.
But it's not. Of the 12 teams currently in the WNBA, only five of them (New York, Indiana, Washington, Minnesota, and Phoenix) share ownership with NBA counterparts. Four others (LA, Chicago, Atlanta, and Dallas) are in the same market as NBA teams, but have no shared ownership (and only one of those shares an arena with an NBA team). The remaining three (Connecticut, Seattle, and Vegas) have no NBA counterparts at all (for now at least, considering Vegas and Seattle are he favorites for NBA expansion teams).
The idea that the WNBA is just sister teams to NBA clubs is outdated.
