The WNBA seriously needs to stop dilly dallying about expansion and just give people who want to get teams the opportunity to buy expansion teams. I get they're still concerned about the failure rate from back in the day, but if there are investors and all you're doing is hemming and hawing, they're going to eventually move on.

The fact that there is no Canadian team yet is frankly insulting, considering how well suited the GTA market is for more basketball options, and how much progress the Canada Basketball program is making at a grass roots level, and getting players both men and women into D1 teams and programs.
