FYI thats all of USA's pool play games except one. The rest of the tournament is after the new year so we will have to wait for the schedule. I assume they would show it all, like the WC.

I'm sure the likes of O'Sullivan, Hensick, and probably Schremp and Kessel can't wait either..... ;)
I think people will be slightly suprised by Belarus this year.

The US is definately going to kill them, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them finnish ahead of Switzerland in their pool.

That's right, they are supposed to be bringing a pretty good squad this year. Hmm. Can't overlook anyone, that's for sure.

I like it that they are showing the USA and I am cheering for them. But I hope they show some of Canada's games because of probably the two Maineaics that most likely be on it. Picard and Bourret.
Also they should show Canada's games to hype Sidney Crosby. Like every other sport that ESPN shows they do hype it up. They can say the next Great One or something along those line lines. It might get the general USA poulation interested into hockey again.

Likely. Those two were tearing it up last year!

And I'm pretty sure he goes by Sergei in English, but don't quote me.

Nice. Its awesome to be able to see a guy that would be otherwise obscure in Belarus, let alone see other highly touted prospects.

Oh, thanks thats good to know. I thought I saw others posting Sergei, but I remembered seeing on Redline Siarhei.

Awesome news!! I can’t waite to see what games they well have on in January, because I really hope they have Canada, Czech Republic ect.

:handclap: :yo:

USA plays the Czech Republic in the round robin on Dec. 30, but it doesn't look like ESPN's carrying that one. :( Once you get into January, you're into the elimination rounds, so ESPN most likely won't announce what they'll be showing until they know who's playing.

The full schedule for the tournament is available here (click W20).

I guarantee almost all of the tournament games will be televised SOMEWHERE. There is such a lack of hockey program I think sports networks are going to jump all over it. I think we could see a few afternoon games being shown on ESPN2 possibly as well...

I'm glad there will be these USA games shown though. Any coverage is good coverage...
