Although I may be intellectually inferior to some of the individuals on this Forum, my post was MY observations and interactions with Gabe over the years, having actually seen him play. For those of you that understood what I was trying to offer, thanks for the feedback.
I should have bet my wife that someone was going to think that I was comparing Gabe to Simmons...I'm wasn't. Simmons is Simmons, Gabe is Gabe and I am who I am - all of us bringing unique, individual qualities to the table = a balanced Team.
Unfortunately, I have seen plenty of "talented" players over the years that had no drive and in my line of work (it doesn't matter what that is), I'll take passion and drive every time - it has nothing to do with hockey BTW.
