Hard working 200 foot energy wing who can score from around the net. Plays on both penalty kill and power play. Skates very well and has deceptive a burst. Is good when he doesn't have the puck. Strong forechecker and a good set up man on the zone entry. His size drops him back in the pack.

Saginaw fan here Giroux numbers are deceiving due to the fact the team was 5th worst record last year on a team that had 4 players that were 97 or 98 born. This year he will be getting plenty of TOI on a very competitive team. I see him on a line with Jenkins and Coskey. He is a leader among his peers and is developing on schedule and was an assistant captain last year. Gives you 100% every shift. He had 19G +24A 43pt last season. His rookie year 8G+ 17A 25 pts in 53 games on a non-playoff team. He will be a point a game this year minimum with a better club around him.

Awesome. It's great to hear from people that actually get to see these kids skate.

Giroux has just scored his 30th goal and 20th assist as the Spirit clinch the West Division. Damien has scored 7 goals in his last 10 games and is developing more into his Captains role. He is one of the more consistent players on a nightly basis.
