Sounds like he's an offensive defenseman. Played forward for London last season, but will play D next season.

Said he was 5'11" on the NHL channel. Hmmm...yet another smallish, PMD...who was injured and didn't play D last year?

Interesting pick.

Not sure what to make of him playing FWD last year. Was the d-corps in London really deep, or the FWD group really weak? He sounds like he's skilled enough to force ice-time, even if it's out of position, at least.

Played for an elite private school, UCC. Not to be compared to Shattuck. More like St. Paul Academy or Blake, but more " elite".

It would be better for Brother Eriksson Ek to take

I was thinking that when I heard his name, then I saw he was a goalie and was meh about it. But I don't know anything about the other EE or the guy the Wild picked.

He's a top notch skater with great puck handling ability. He stood out at training camp.

London was going for it this year so there wasn't room for him on the back end - his defensive game still had quite a bit of work to do - but I'm 100% sure he plays D next year.

Project pick, but he's got great tools.

Same thing happened with Brent Burns. After playing D most of his life, he was moved to RW the season leading to his draft. Then started with the Wild at RW, but we know he yo-yo'd back and forth a few times before they decided he was markedly better on D.
