I think it has jumped the shark anyway. Winter Classic was supposed to be THE marquee event on new year’s day, this year they had 10 games on that day? Did they even promote it? I really didn’t know who was playing exactly till about 2 or so day before. In Canada it was on sportsnet 1, not even on the main network. There is no point in having the event just for the sake of having it.
