I love this sweater....so much I wear one for hockey frequently.
Ok it isn't exactly the same. It is a replica of the 1927 sweater like this, but it doesn't have a lace-up collar.
It is almost identical to what Felix is wearing in the previous pic except with white trim on the neck.
It was made by AK and sadly their "royal blue" is a bit lighter than standard.
Still I'm not sure deeper blue and a lace-up collar will be enough to convince my wife I need one of these.
As for sweaters in general....
I like the current ones if we must have the Ballard logo. I like the Ballard logo (and actually the whole 70's uniform) aesthetically, but it does feel a bit like it is cursed and is in fact the only logo we never won a cup with.
I don't care for the current 3rds personally.
I would prefer going back to the early 60's sweaters for regular home and away (white is like the old thirds, blue is like the current but with the same leaf as the old thirds but in white) and this heritage sweater as the 3rd.
That would be my dream set-up actually.
