Prospect Info: Winnipeg Jets Prospects Thread 2018-19

Going to try and do a lot more shift by shift video on Jets prospects this season, Samberg is high up on the list. NCHC streaming is a stupid 30 bucks/month (thanks NeuLion), but they're playing at Minnesota tomorrow which should be on BTN and I'll have access. Fingers crossed.

I'm real happy Karlskrona was relegated to Allsvenskan, it gave him a chance to play somewhere other than the U20 league. Karlskrona's U20 team is just... not good at all. And I'm not sure he would've gotten this opportunity if they were still in the SHL.

Kovacevic has been my new favourite dark horse prospect since he was drafted. I never considered Samberg a dark horse and it use to be Niku but he grew past that.

Played again today. Lost 1-0 but had 4 shots and was named third star.

Evingson had 1A in his first exhibition game this season.

I have also had him on my dark horse list. The kid just has a real nice all around game.

He has nice skills for a taller player. He plays a pretty calm game too and I like how he moves the puck.

Fun to watch, not overly impressed though. Ends up flat on his stomach and flailing a lot. Bit of a swimmer, movements seem erratic.

Was hoping to see him at world juniors in Vancouver this year. But USA seems to be missing from tournament????

Looks like Kovacevic's goal was taken away from him, but he got the assist for it. So 3A in that first game, rather than 1G2A.

Kovacevic is a guy they were really high on when they drafted him. I think they feel he might be able to push for a Job in the NHL when his college career is over

Yea I was voting for him early and often on our prospect polls this past off season but he didn’t get allot of traction. He is a bit under the radar type so hopefully he has a good season and joins the Moose next year. I like his overall skill level. That Jets draft class could be a good one (fingers crossed).

Chisholm with a pair of primary assists last night in a 5-4 OT win.

Both him and Valati off to good starts in the OHL this season.

Arvid Holm starting again today for Karlskrona. 2-0 Oskarshamn in the first period. Looks like he's getting shelled, 15 shots against already. 2 goals for Flames pick Sveningsson.

Both flying a bit under the radar here but the two of them are off to good starts:

Chisholm 1g and 6a in 9 games
Vallati 1g and 5a in 7 games
