Wheeler and Scheifele looked gassed. All those minutes are really catching up to them. I think Moe needs to allocate them a bit better moving forward.

And that’s on coaching! Everyone knew Schief and Wheels were going to hit a wall it was just a matter of time.

There's nothing like a dominating Jets home win to clear the stench out of the air around here, and that's even factoring in the smell of people blowing that "here comes a nine game losing streak" nonsense out their ass.

This team is 18-8-5, goddamnit, with a +20 goal differential. This is a very good team with a very good record with a very good chance (over 91% if SportsClubStats is to be believed) of making the playoffs with over a 70% chance of finishing top-3 in the Central. It's okay to enjoy that!

As for the last four games? the only real absolute stinker lately was that game against Detroit. After that, we had:

* A nervous young 3rd string goalie who wet the bed yet STILL it took a number of crazy bounces against to keep us from getting a point
* Going toe-to-toe on the road against the best team in the league (which, trust me, is how everyone outside this forum saw it) and going the distance for a point.
* Coming back home and stomping the daylights out of a weaker team as one would expect.

I see nothing in there that screams "missing the playoffs" -- another ludicrous refrain of late -- and a team with a very large chance of making the playoffs.

Of course, let's be realistic and of course, let's not get over confident, but how long have we waited for a season where the Jets get off to a roaring start like this? Well, now we got one!

Remember Mo saying he doesn’t like guys sitting in the PB too long...Dano says BS!

Ha ha, Sip you should know that rule only applies for his grizzled character vets. You just knew sitting Thor and Stuart last season ate him up inside.

He seems quite comfortable sitting players he doesn't seem to like or trust all that much.

Game was a little bumpy but a really solid second period and strong finish.
Love the depth with 4 lines rolling, bottom 6 showing they belong and an impressive D despite being down 2 vets.

They are tired, but they'll be fine because they are in very good shape and are big guys.

Meanwhile, the Jets have banked 41 points in 31 games, through a fairly tough part of their schedule.

Perreault on 4th is fine for now. He's still getting PP time. Demoting Connor or Ehlers to that line makes zero sense. Mixing up all the lines could make things better or worse. Slow ass 1st, but other than that nothing to complain about.

Great adjustment in the 2nd period taking CSW off the Sedin assignment.. they were getting outworked and hemmed in their end for most of the first period.

And of course hats off to CLT for an excellent effort to not only shut them down but spend most of their time in the offensive zone and giving CSW a better matchup, that completely changed the game around

Outstanding post. So many seem to be having trouble moving on from the past. Every road bump is seen as a catastrophe ready to happen. I'm just glad the team is more resilient than its HFBoard fans.
