If Rasmussen becomes Red Wings Keith Primeau that would be an awesome pick, what are you talking about? A 31 goal season, a 27 goal season, a 73 point season and a lockout shortened season where he put up 42 points in 45 games and was on pace for 27 goals and 76 points isnt expecting much? With physical play to go along with it as well. Thats all in only 7 seasons with Detroit as well, 4 out of 7 really good seasons isnt bad considering those include his years where he was just breaking into the league.

What do you think of Robert Thomas?

You have to prorate those goals to today's NHL. Not 90's NHL when scoring 35-40 goals was good but not elite.

The hand-eye coordination that Rasmussen has is probably up there with the best in the league...Already

Nice! What did they do to Rasmussen on that conditioning stint? lol

He looked more confident physically imposing himself down there and holding onto the puck. He also was free to shoot more, so we will see. But yeah it is nice to realize you're more talented than almost every player on the level right below the NHL. When you have been in the grind, I think it helps to see you're a good hockey player every once in a while when you lose confidence. Nice chance for him to get going off the injury too.
