I look at this team on paper and yeah the D isn't the best in the league but with that forward corp we should be pulling out more wins than we have. We have a good team and good players. Losing Hiller and his PP really gave us a punch to the gut though.

Our defence really isn't as bad as the board seems to think. They are somewhere around 10th in the league in goals against.

Also Howard is coming off his best start of the season so hopefully we get the same level of play from him while taking advantage of Dallas' awful defence to get another 2 pts.

Mrazek has some weak games lately. Howard deserves a chance to follow up his last game which was fantastic, and he deserves a start with a fresh team in front of him.

The Wings may not have an elite D core but they do have an excellent team structure that limits scoring chances from the high scoring areas.

Exactly Totally ok with this. With the way he's been playing in his last few games, he deserves to get a few starts that's not the second game of a b2b. Also, Mrazek's not been too hot, could use some rest.

Besides his last game, Jimmy has had not had a good outing since December 18th against the Canucks.

His last win was December 3rd against the Yotes.

He has lost 10 starts in a row.

He has 7 wins this year. For all intents and purposes he has forgot how to win games.

I don't see it. Under Babcock, yes. But I don't see that this year. So I'll have to disagree.
