We give up a shortie. Terrible by Larkin and Bert. Then Helm scores right after. Lol

Lil Bert with that ****in lil hold up. Kids got a gift for the little things.

Yup, if he can be consistent he is a coaches dream. Highest hockey iq of all time. Imagine how wily he's going to be once he's a 28yo vet.

the way the game is played when you are on the pp you should have more men than the defending team competing for the puck.
PP unit 2 should not have 71 touching the puck on the pp he is useless.

I'm really excited to watch his career progress. The tiny little plays he makes with his skates and stick in a board battle are fun to watch. It's like watching Pavel Datsyuk stick lift a defender as he dangles him, such a small thing but eye opening.

Highest iq all time? Not sure about that. We had this little Russian dude one time. You might know him.

i wasn't really serious about that, but his hockey IQ is really high based on all the little things that he instinctively knows how to do, which ezekial was mentioning

Doing the little things is more work ethic than hockey IQ. He has one of the lowest hockey IQs on the team, but he is willing to give 100% which is why he makes an impact. AA on the other hand has a pretty good hockey IQ but rarely gives 100%, and hes barely noticeable most games. Bert will have a long career as a bottom liner who can add sandpaper and some tertiary scoring. Not a bad guy to have, but still not a fan of using a 2nd to get him when they probably would have had him in the third or fourth round.

i could not disagree more

If it was work ethic you'd see the helms, glendenings, the abdelkaders doing this stuff. But they don't, because it doesn't even register on their minds half the time. Don't ask me how I can read their minds, that's not a point I want to attempt to defend.

I gotta disagree a lot there too. Bert has a high hockey IQ, he knows how to be patient with the puck and make the right play. Hockey IQ is realizing the game, AA sometimes has his mind made up before the play.
