Does anyone know of a good source that tracks team win streaks in certain buildings, against certain teams, etc.?

I am curious to know about teams that usually win certain situations. For example, Philadelphia has won 11 of the past 12 games at home versus Chicago. Seems that some teams have another team's number sometimes, these would be great situations to bet on underdogs.

If this is a variation of the "they're due" logic, then I recommend exercising caution.

"They're due" logic is usually attributed to teams that have been losing, and are "due" for a win. What I am talking about is teams that win often while playing against certain teams. Another example would be Pittsburgh's struggles at home against Philadelphia. The record indicates they usually lose, so they would be a good team to bet against in that situation.

I agree with the caution statement. I think you are looking for extra value, but even if the Flyers were underdogs in that situation, most have already taken that streak into account with where they set the money lines. So while the Flyers might have perceived value since they are underdogs, you might be betting a +125 line or something like that. However, if the streak didn't exist, maybe the Flyers are really +175 or more underdogs when comparing talent vs talent in a vacuum.

If anything the value would be seen in the opposite way as if they subtract value from the underdogs, it means the favorites are cheaper.

Yes you can find that here: http://www.oddsshark.com/nhl/database

It's a sportsbook website so I guess gamblers find this type of info useful. So yeah, I'd use caution.

Sort of: Link

Doesn't tabulate the "streaks" for you, but you can choose the time, teams, location (home/away), regular vs playoffs, etc., and compare look at the results that are generated (in chronological order, I believe) to find any streaks.

Putting Philly as the primary team, Chicago as the secondary team, choosing regular season, and setting location: primary team home, yields the streak you're referring to, for example.
