This makes sense. It was funny/awesome that first time but it would be weird to be throwing food on the ice, litterally throwing it away, when there are so many people in this city/country/world who don't have enough to eat.

Maybe there's some way to turn burger throwing into a fundraiser for the food bank or something?

Throwing away perfectly good food is pretty much the most "first world" thing ever in my opinion. I like the idea of starting new traditions and loving our team, but it all seems a bit wasteful when there are people struggling to eat. Sorry to guilt trip, but I can't shake the thought...
