Not really, everyone is scoring more this year basically
You’ve heard of injuries and people just not playing well right?
Also, goals per game compared to last year are up a whopping .07 per game.
The studs in the league are accounting for more points by their teams. Goal scoring is hardly up at all though.
0.7 eh, you must have not done stats ever lol
I don’t understand what the joke is. And it’s .07* not .7
If you are going to try and be cute and funny, at least make sure your own post isn’t inaccurate.
Here’s the statistical proof if you need it.

Crosby has been a better player this year though so i dont see McDavid winning it over Crosby
This is a thread about Crosby. Please stop bringing up McDavid. thanks.Best hockey player in the world AINEC
He doesn’t need to keep this pace he’s had of 25 pts in his past 12 games.Don't think Crosby gets 100. The Pens have had some pretty easy teams to play against lately. Only 3 of the last 10 games were against playoff teams. 7 of their next 10 are against playoffs teams. He cannot keep up the same scoring pace against the better teams.
Crosby has 13 points in his last 5 games including tonight. 14 in 17 is almost guaranteed. I Honestly think he could sniff 110-115.
Actually, in the first 16 games of 2019 he only had 14 points. So just a month ago that was a pace he was on. He's heated up at a above average rate lately, but I still don't think that's sustainable as competition gets higher, games get tighter and playoff battles heat up.He doesn’t need to keep this pace he’s had of 25 pts in his past 12 games.
He only needs 14 pts in his last 16 games. He’s almost never scored at that low a pace. He should hit 100 in his sleep from here on in.
24-31 in 17 won't be easy...my fantasy team could use it though since playoffs have started
Actually his first 16 games of 2019 (which date from Jan 2 to Feb 5) he had 9 goals and 12 assists for 21 pts in those 16 games.Actually, in the first 16 games of 2019 he only had 14 points. If Pens make it in before the last game of regular season he will be sitting against the Rangers.
you think he will magically score at a lower rate and below PPG because?... no logic there, sounds more like wishful thinking on your end.Actually, in the first 16 games of 2019 he only had 14 points. This expert analysis didn’t age too well.Crosby is not as naturally skilled as Malkin imo. He needs to exert much more energy to pick up points, his game has always been more akin to a supremely skilled grinder. As Crosby has gotten older he simply doesn't play as balls to the wall as he did game in game out as a youngster.
Malkin can somehow come out with 2 points even when he plays poorly. It's not surprising to me that he's aging better when it comes to point production ability. Crosby can still do it when needed (21 points in 12 games in the playoffs), but he can't pick up points effortlessly the way Malkin can.
