Unlikely, but not impossible. I estimate he has about a 5% chance of tying Hull, and an 8% of passing him this year (assuming no missed games).

I think he passes Dionne (731, 6 goals away) for sure this season, but he’ll have to wait to pass Hull.
He’s passing Hull (741, 16 goals away) and Jagr (766, 41 goals away) next year if the season isn’t shortened again.
From there he can pass Howe (801) within a year or two after passing Jagr and he can continue for a few more years to reach 895.

I think sitting at 736 by the end of the season is a fair guess. 11 goals in final 18 games would get him to 30 yet again.
Crazy how even if next season is of similar length to this season, he could very well be sitting alone at 3rd all time by the end of it.
31 goals would do it if he manages to pot 30 this year.

If OV gets 30 goals this season to keep his 30-goal streak going and ends up top3 in goals, I will say he had an awesome season even without catching Brett Hull.
