The canadian organization of the meeting will work hard for that but Ovechkin must already miss matches with his pro team because of the World Junior. Unless Canada put a lot of money on the table for a compensation to the Ovechkin team ( which is now in the foirst place of the season championship) , it is very much unlikely.
Lately, Zherdev didn't play for team Russia in the U20 Four nations tournament.
