What the hell did Ottawa do to him? Seemed like he was on the verge of making the NHL 3 years ago. Stick him on the right side, let him do his thing and live with the occasional mistakes. It's not like they have playoffs at stake here.

He has stellar puck skills, just lacks experience and physical maturity. Still only 21 and already basically automatic PPG player in AHL.

We've seen similar adjustment difficulties before with similar players in Ellis and Spurgeon. Patience is all that is required.

But with Chabot and Sanderson, if Ottawa does not want to play him on the right side, I can see him traded.
