OT: Will Doug Weight ever be honored in Edmonton?

He deserves some respect sure, but don't forget he just walked away from here for a raise and left this team high and dry.

As far as getting his uni retired is concerned he can go to hell.

I'd rather see Fernando Pisani, Jason Smith, Kelly Buchberger, Steve Staios and a few other character guys up there way ahead.

For all I know some of those guys already have their uni's up there. I really don't know lol.

And I'm not usually the type to boo, but I would boo him during the ceremony.

Why are you people hung on arguing about his number being retired, that's not what i've been posting.

And Weight didn't walk, he was traded. There's been alot of stories going around that he would've signed for 1mil a year but the PA stepped in, and Kevin Lowe wanted Weight go out and make the money he deserved. Its not his fault we didnt trade to have Weight back in '06. To boo him........if he was brought here and the building boos him...... that would be wrong, he does not deserve that at all
