The gap was 6 points coming into this season and it looked like this was the year. OV now has increased the gap to 14 points. With OV on fire and Crosby off to a slow start, it doesn't seem like it. However it is Sidney Crosby.

    Will he catch him?

Wow I didn’t even realize that. Ovi will be Racking up the goals and Sid the assist. I’m going to say not this year, but I wouldn’t worry about Crosby’s slow start. He always finishes with about the same points as his previous seasons

I'd say they'll be tied or with Sid slightly ahead by the end of the season. Gotta remember Crosby is a notorious slow starter.

Crosby is always off to slow starts, wouldn't be surprised if he does pass him by seasons end
