Pominville definitely helped the Wild make the playoffs. They barely snuck in on a tiebreaker for 8th. Wild were pretty comfortably in the playoff mix when they picked up Moulson. He had a good game against a terrible NYI team and that's about it.

Potential maybe but we haven't seen it. We've also been grooming him for that type of production.

At what point does the individual become responsible for what becomes of his game? You make it sound like the front office controls these guys with a remote or something.

It probably feels like that's how it should work when so many people are used to seeing a player's overall rating jump eight points on the scale after a grueling simulated season.

A place.
Let's get back to discussing what happened at the development camp.

If you wanna talk about Coyle, use a Coyle thread. If you wanna talk about GMCF, use a GMCF thread.

Wait...what? We have witnessed it on and off all last season, and if you didn't see that hopefully you saw the playoffs where we looked like a man among lessors (esp against COL, before injuries).

We have witnessed 12 goals a year Coyle as well as close to 30 goals a year Coyle. If he can reign in whatever he did to his game at times, and run that throughout all games...yes he ceiling is up there, and how do we know that? Because we've seen it in glimpses.

Anyways, who is going tomorrow to the Scrim? I thought we'd have way more information flowing through this thread, as well as hearing more from Russo.

you guys will have to tell me who looks good. wont be able to see scrimmage or stream. probably nothing will change from last scrimmage though. pretty much the guys that should be good, are good. (or at least compared to whoever they are playing against. like I would look good next to a crappy 8th grader)

Dumba, Keranen, Tuch and Phillips all very visible in the first half. Can't say much about other defenders because wasn't much play by play commentating. Dumba is the best skater and looked pretty big.

Phillips had a nice dish backwards across the slot which should have been potted...

Hunter Warner (72 White) looked good. Had a really nice rush where he skated around a couple of guys bringing the puck into the offensive zone. Color me surprised.

Yeah, he has clearly improved his skating which gives him more time to use his his vision. We saw the same thing with Granlund.
