Didn’t watch the game and took a look at the box score before watching the highlights and at first sight I thought it might just be a data error (have been doing a lot of NCAA scoreboard watching cause of Will Smith and data errors are not uncommon there).

Or in short: it’s not very common

2 of the goals were the typical unassisted goals you'd expect....other team throws a pass, gets picked off and guy goes in on a breakaway or close to it and shoots and scores. The other is a play that happens from time to time as well....team is pressuring, getting chances, puck down low, defending team is able to get their stick on it and bat it away, but it goes right to the point and that guy steps in and shoots and scores. That play, the teammates down low played a big part in the goal, but don't get any points out of it.....happens...
