Iginla had great chemistry with Krejci. I think a line with Iggy, Krejci, and Pasta would look great in this line up.

As long as we don't break the bank, a one year deal makes sense and adds to the leadership needed for the youngsters.

Isn't the point to finally get some of the youth up here to see if they can actually contribute at this level? Bringing in a guy like Iggy is simply the wrong way to go, imo...

I could get on board with bringing in Iginla for the year. Great player who may have some gas left in the tank. I wonder how close to game shape he's in?

Has anyone seen what kind of shape Peverley is in? He was good here 6 years ago. May be worth a flier, no? :laugh:

Not only that, but don't they already have enough aging and declining players on the roster?
Other than Bergeron, Backes and Chara? Those three are in decline making HUGE money. Iginla for a sane wage might be a good add.
