Value of: Why isn't there more talk about Craig Anderson being traded?

I think Ottawa would have to retain salary for Anderson to have value as a 1b or solid backup. We all know Eugine isn't going to agree to that.

I think Anderson has indicated he would like to stay with the Sens. I think it's kind of the same thing as Lundqvist wanting to stay with the Rangers. With that being said, Anderson would be a valuable vet backup to any team with a young starting netminder. Either a very low draft pick or a C level prospect, plus some salary retained would probably be Anderson's trade value.

Anderson does absolutely nothing for a contending team. At most you get a 5/6/7 pick from a middling team like Carolina or Montreal?

This comment has zero factual basis in reality. Sens have received calls and a solid amount of interest, but they are not wanting to move him. I explained why above.

Any source they've received calls? I can't find anything concrete on that front outside people assuming he'll be moved because rebuilding team and that was at start of season.
