Since I have nothing better to do while I wait for my 5 hr delayed flight...

Why don't you humour me and explain why my statement, whereby I agreed Kadri has a cap friendly cap hit, led you to believe I didn't think he was a #2C?

Why whip on Kadri when you can whip and Sparks and Nylander?

HAHAHA... Hit's tend to be a subjective thing and tend to be home ice skewed. IMO body contact and separating the puck count as a hit. 50/50 battles when you pin the guy against the boards is a hit.

No lost context of time. We were just commenting on how others have not worked out near as well and that Kadri was the right pick although Ellis would have been a good pick also considering where they are now. Nothing to do with Leaf needs back then, just who actually is a good player.

OK, you still don't get it. I'm asking why you asked in the first place.

So this is how the conversation went..

You: Kadri has a great contract/cap hit for what he brings
Me: Yes, without a doubt he does
You: WHat?? You dont think he's a #2C??
    Me: What?
You: OMG you dont think he's a #2C?!
Me: No, that's not what I said. I was AGREEING with you. Why do you keep asking that?
You: WOW you just dance around it but you dont think he's a #2C! OMFGGG!!!
    Me: Whatever you say man!

Edit: Anyway, I think this conversation has gone on long enough. Thanks for the laugh though.

Posted this in the value of Boone Jenner thread and it was fairly well received.

    Kadri & Brown
    For
    Jenner & Anderson (Josh)

    Nylander - Matthews - Anderson
    Hyman - - - Tavares - - - Marner
    Marleau - - - Jenner - - Kapanen
    Johnsson - Gauthier - Lindholm

Move Johnsson for a Dman possibly

If you are gonna move Kadri then at least move him for a D-man that has some years left on a contract.

Think long term: next season gardiner and Hainsey both are as good as gone our Defensive depth is going to suck even more than it does now

Kadri getting a little less ev time but more then enough pp time to compensate, 47 point pace right now.
While his wingers havent been inconsistent they are arguably the best he has gotten in his career.

Kadri has lost his mojo...A collage could be assembled of missed passes, bobbled puck corralling, fanned shots, missed nets, shooting right at the goalie, unsuccessful toe drags...just a frickin' train wreck. Physical game isn't all there either. Not sure what it is,but it needs to end. He needs to get some swagger in his game to be effective.A confidence booster shot, anything really. If it doesn't happen,he could be on the market.

Yeah much sheltered in fact but more so due to depth then lack of ability on his part.

Yup, most 'haterz' included. You know, the ones that were 'wrong' apparently.

Thought this preview image for the article was funny.

Kadri's been snake bitten this season.

This might be a game we see Kadri show up, because the Bruins tend to play physical and Kadri is at his best when he is pushing back and playing with an edge.

He might have extra motivation once his blood stars boiling in this one.
