It actually seems like it just got better since I created this thread.

It's the new Jinx thread format. "Why is XXX so YYY?" And then they're not that anymore. Immediately.

If it's running like crap for awhile, try dumping cache/cookies or using a private browser session and see if it changes.

For me, the site is lightning fast when it loads - but getting the browser to connect/handshake with the server takes for-frickin'-ever.

Are you using Chrome? I've had the same issue, so I tried it with Safari and its been fine.

I hope this gets fixed. I can't stand Safari.

I had real issues trying to even log in yesterday... today seems better. Just another data point!

It seems sticky. Like refresh or reclick and hope you end up on the fast connection rather than the slow one.

The quote from the boss was the tech team "believe they fixed it". Emphasis on believe.

Once the work is done things should be faster than before. Better caching servers for faster load times.
