Why is Bettman not fighting for Atlanta like Phoenix ?

    I understand the Jim B problem but Phoenix is not a top 10 market. Atlanta is number 8 and has a load of corps something Phoenix does not have. What about the big TV contract the NHL might get this summer? The NHL loses a lot by losing ATL.

    Who says that he's not? Just because you can't see it (yet), doesn't mean that it isn't happening.

    Also, given that we have dedicated Phx and Atl threads, do we need this as a separate topic?


    As Doc No indicated, we really don't know what Bettman is doing at the moment. If any news comes out that sheds light on it, we can discuss it at that time, as a retrospective if the situations indeed are different.
