No offence but you hyped that up like it’s some crazy revelation lol.
Lol. Yeah, there's a lot of people from Ontario that aren't Leaf fans.
Funny thing is, some of my friends are die-hard Leaf fans, but have never seen a live game. Just can't afford it.
Pretty ridiculous when a fan can't afford to go see their favorite team.
I'll go to Buffalo to see the Flames play, last season I got 2nd row off the ice near the penalty box for $35. US.
Parking in Toronto is pretty close to that.

Surprise there are no votes for either of the Florida teams so far, I mean the Panthers usually fades in the background around here but I though Tampa would have been high on a lot of people's list with all the complaints about how their star players are all seemingly signing for below market value.

I picked the leafs, and really there should no hate there at all since they play in different conference than the oilers and only play them twice a year, so I don’t hate the team per say.

I hate the fact that their fan base is so undeservedly arrogant, considering the last time they won anything or even made a final was when there was only 6 teams in the league. Add to that the media, which is based out of Toronto, shoves the leafs down everyones throat at every turn, constantly overrating the players, covering stories that are complete garbage just because they’re about the leafs (like weeks of articles about Matthews growing a porn stache ffs) and assuming everyone wants to hear or read that trash.

My hate for the leafs is completely and totally created by the media and the fans of that team.

I just voted for the only team I care about. My Jets. It's frustrating going from a team that made the WCF after slugging it out against a very tough Nashville team to one that might not even make the playoffs two years later.

People here are acting like Leafs fans are more delusional or unreasonable than any other fanbase. There's just more of us, so of course there are going to be more fools within our population. I totally agree with the general criticism that I've seen here regarding the Toronto media though.

Rangers easily. There was a period in the late 90s/early 2000s where I would’ve said Flyers but I feel like that rivalry has really died down.

As a Leafs fan, Toronto.

I feel there should be a distinction between fanbase hatred and team hatred.

I hate the Bruins because they’re a dirty team but they’re also really good.

Boston. It’s really just Marchand. He’s one of the best players in the league but he also consistently takes cheap shots. There’s nothing wrong with trying to get in players’ heads but trying to injure other players is crossing the line.

As a Bruins fan, it is Montreal quite easily.

Weirdly, I still get a strange amount of enjoyment watching Vancouver lose (dating back to the SCF in 2011). Also, I enjoy Philly teams losing in general. It’s hard not to enjoy Toronto failing, but they’re just never enough of a threat to produce actual hate for me. Especially now that Kadri is gone.

It’s worth noting as a Boston sports fan that I have no issue whatsoever with the New York Rangers despite constant attempts of the hockey media to frame this as a rivalry.

Hate is a strong word.

I don't hate the Leafs as a team.

I "hate" the many irrational people within the Leaf fanbase. I "hate" the constant pumping and pandering of the Leafs by the Leaf-centric media and the blatant favoritism show to the Leafs by the NHL.

But hating the Leafs team...nope. As a team they have been completely irrelevant for the last 50 plus years.

It really is this.

I’m not even in the Canadian market, but it’s tiresome to hear every single year how the Leafs are going to better when they never address any of their issues. Just forced bias over and over again.

wtf kind of stupid answer is this?

It's a different perspective on an otherwise boring topic. The Jets don't really have any big rivalries. Maybe idiot players like Corey Perry, but that Ducks series was so long ago it's hardly relevant today. Much like the Jets chances of a Cup this year. I "hate" the team I want to succeed the most because as an organization they've likely passed their best window for a cup up with Wheeler and Buff in their primes and now have to defer to the next generation in hopes of climbing the ladder again.

Sorry my answer wasn't as simple as "I hate some of the Leaf posters on here", and "Vegas, because they should be forced to suck like everyone else for a while".
