Between the names below, who do you think has the most promise in the NHL and who has the least???

Senja, Semin, Vorobiev, Hudler, Michalek & Vanek

I would put them in this order:
    1 Semin
    2 Hudler
    3 Sejna
    4 Michalek
    5 Vanek
    6 Vorobiev

*of course I'm putting them in order of offensive upside, not all round ability*

Agreed. Although I might have Sejna higher, Vanek lower.

ehh. I haven't watched sejna much, but I don't see how Vanek could be ranked higher than Semin. Hes been fantastic this season, and just scored his 3rd goal (7 points in 15 games so far)of the season so far. Butch Cassidy is a moron for scratching him so much. Hes really shown skill with the puck. I'd put him on top in terms of offensive upside and michalek on tops in terms of being the total player. Admittedly I havent seen much of the other players, but from what i've read, heard and the general sense I get on this board here are my rankings:

    Semin-Flashy 1st line LW
Vanek-1/2nd line wing with copious skill
    Michalek-Solid 2-way 2nd liner
    hudler-Skilled 2nd line center/poss. 1st liner
    Vorobiev-2nd liner/poss. 1st liner
    Sejna-2nd liner

Outta all these guys, I think Michalek has the best all-around game but if we are goin strictly by offensive upside...Vanek ina walk.

Maybe Vanek, maybe not, but definately not a walk either way.

I'd place Vanek first and Semin close behind. Both explosive offensive talents.

Though Michalek and Vanek can be interchanged, depending on what you're looking for. If you want offense, Vanek, however, if you want the more complete package, less offense but superb defense go with Michalek. I didn't really know how to rank the rest.

I think Semin has more promise than originally thought. I used to think he would max out as a second line 60 point scoring threat, but after seeing the ridiculous things he can do with the puck, I'm definitely beginning to think that he has 40 goal potential. He looks like a sturdier Chistov out there.
