Funny article, but I'm sure the test didn't include all the undrafted eligible players, which would have increased the pool by a couple hundred.

Plus it ignores the development aspect.

The draft is almost a total guessing game. These are kids, who don't know what it's like to be away from mom or dad or have money or have groupies or anything that comes along with being a professional athlete. Any long time King fan knows the draft is a crap shoot and they usually end up shooting crap. I don't remember ANY King fan saying how much they wanted Kopitar or Quick before they were drafted. And if you did then there is probably 100 misses behind that that you've wiped from your memory to boost your self esteem.

I think after the really talented pick top 1-10 or so its more how much the young player wants to do work. Futa and Yannetti & Co have been good at looking head strong young men, thats why we have likes of King, Toffoli, Pearson etc.
