Since gravity is 9.8m/s^2, I feel players who are 6 feet would be best for a hockey game played in a pool. Small players like Johnny Hockey would get crushed but Chara wouldn't be useful.

Also, since the hockey players are pushing their force against the water, and the water would push the same amount of force back, players like Zac Rinaldo would benefit.

Thoughts?

Really confused by both of the things you said. Why 6 feet because of the acceleration due to gravity? And why would Rinaldo benefit there?

Acceleration isn't 9.8 m/s^2 in water, anyway. Sure, acceleration due to gravity is the same, but the buoyancy force provided by air and water is very different.
