Bump. Who will score 20+ for the Yotes this season (15-16)?
Last season, only OEL did it (at defense, no less).

210 goals for in 13-14
165 goals for in 14-15

I'm going to say no one scores 20+ for us this season.

Boedker will score 20, but it'll be for another team.

Boedker for sure, and I wouldn't be too surprised if Ollie does it again.

There are a bunch of guys who will score in the high teens though... Vermette, Hanzal, Rieder, Doan, Duclair, Domi.

Obviously the other side of this is the defense.

224 goals against 13-14
267 goals against 14-15

Mike Smith:
144 goals against 11-12 (67 starts - WCF playoff year)

159 goals against 13-14 (61 starts)
187 goals against 14-15 (61 starts)

How many does Smith & the team allow this year? Still a lot of youth on that D corps and some forwards will be learning on the job. I think Smith will be better, but it's still going to be a rough year.

I'm guessing 170 GA (given 61 starts) for Smith and 250 goals against for the team.

80 goals against in the last 20 games? Lindback wasn't very good last season but even Sebastien Caron didn't ever make it to a 4.00 GAA for those awful post-Jagr, pre-Crosby Penguins teams.

Team totals on NHL.com include empty net goals, which aren't attributed to the goalies. I assume we'll have quite a few come-from-behind attempts this year.
