All three teams seem like they are going to be bottom of the barrel.
Arizona is tanking hard and have very few prospects that will make an impact at the NHL level. They had 25 wins last season and look like they will be worse this year with the subtraction of Kessel and the likely trade of Chychurn.
Chicago hardly has a roster at this point. They’ve traded pretty much everybody and haven’t qualified nearly any of their RFAs. Since trading DeBrincat, Hagel, and Dach and not qualifying Kubalik and Strome they’ve effectively subtracted 108 goals from their roster. They had 28 wins last season.
Seattle was a bad team last year. They will be a bad team this year as well. Assuming they plan to tank further, you can probably expect them to trade more of their roster. They had 27 wins last season.
