Goalie Reid Ellingson, teams didn't like his size, so what if he's 5'9, he's still a very good goalie.
Forward Micheal Connolly, not as surprising as Ellingson.
Dion Knelsen and Ryan Lasch probably due to their lack of size.

I think the answer is that teams don't want to draft 18 y.o. Europeans because they will lose their rights in 2 years.
Of course teams draft TOP talent, but if previously teams often selected European in late rounds, now they would rather go after NA player, or European Overager.The point of drafting overagers is that teams would have their rights until this guys would be 22-23 y.o. when it's much more simple to decide sign him or not, than when he is 20.

I dont know about you guys, but I had a problem with Tristin Llewellyn not getting drafted.

Wasnt this kid top 10 material a year and a half ago? I understand that his stock has dropped, but to go from being a top 10 pick, to not getting drafted in under 2 years is pretty bad. I know a few publications had him in their top 100. He is headed to Michigan I believe this fall, so this is my WHAT THE **** WERE THEY THINKING non pick! I hope he reenters next year and goes really high.
