Who was the funniest character in Caddyshack?

Just watched Caddyshack again. I can't decide which actor had the funniest role. Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and Ted Knight were all hilarious.

One of my favorites will always be

Judge Smails: I've sentenced boys younger than you to the gas chamber. Didn't want to do it. I felt I owed it to them.

Just burst out laughing everytime that scene comes on and how Knight delivers it. And all his interactions with Spaulding are great as well

Knight + Dangerfield easily make that movie what it is

It's a toss up between Dangerfield and Murray for me. Rodney stole every scene he was in and Bill's character was just so wacky and hilarious.

I'm probably not alone in this, but I still quote Caddyshack every time I golf.
