According to the Hockey Summary Project...

Desjardins played the full games 1, 2, 4, and 5. He also played the 1st period of game 3 then got pulled.

Crozier played game 6 and the 2nd, 3rd, and Overtime periods of game 3.

It was mostly Gerry Desjardins. Punch Imlach stated that goaltending was the difference-maker in that final, and though Desjardins did his best, he was no Parent.

Desjardins pulled himself out of Game 3. He had given up two goals on long shots in the first period, and later said that he couldn't deal with the pressure at that moment and literally thought he'd have a nervous breakdown if he stayed in.

Thanx guys. I did do some research but couldn't come up with anything. Desjardins had a couple of good years. I thought it was him mostly in the finals. He sent me an autograph picture way back then. My memory is starting to go.:shakehead
