Second time ever Connor has gone 3 games pointless. We went 1-1-1 in that stretch. That was the worst game we’ve played this year. All about how we bounce back against a good caps team. Biggest test of the season here.

We need to get back to basics on our pucks support. First few games when we were winning we always had more bodies on screen, always had more guys battling for pucks, and had more guys there if our first guy lost.

We look like a group of individuals from last year again in the last few games here. It is unacceptable.

Nevermind the bottom 6, this team needs one good guy to help little Nugey. A guy who can create some space, etc. Otherwise Nuge is useless at evens. He just chips it in, chases it and pokes at it, etc, He can be much better, but he has Chaisson attached to him as well.

And can we finally get 77 off PP1? His telegraphed slap fake to pass isn't fooling anyone. And he takes so God damn long to decide when the game requires split second decision making

i can't comment on the last 2 periods, but I wouldn't be surprised if McDavid sits out a few because of a lingering issue. We have seen this guy for years. He is not the same player at all.
