Would have liked to do at least a top-10 but interest has been dropping so it might be even hard to finish that top-10

All-time Sens UFA signings

#1- Dominik Hasek
#2- Sergei Gonchar
#3- Clarke MacArthur
#4- Evgenii Dadonov
#5- Alexei Kovalev
#6- Todd White
#7- Ron Tugnutt
#8- Jarkko Ruutu

On which factors thee polls should be voted on?

Some ideas for criterias :

- How the player produced with the team
- What the player brought to the team
- What the player should have brought to the team
- Name recognition, marketability

Tell me who to add (and tell me who's missing)

Tom Pyatt
Magnus Pääjärvi
Ron Hainsey
Nate Thompson
Dean McAmmond
Matt Carkner
Jesse Winchester
Stéphane Da Costa
Bobby Butler
Jason Smith
André Benoit
Scott Sabourin
Pat Cannone

Loved Jarkko Ruutu, and I appreciated Corvo’s contributions, but I think I’d have to vote for Cunneyworth. Having a UFA come in and be named captain is pretty huge, even with a terrible rebuilding team.

In my humble opinion Lance Pitlick was the most impactful 12-14 minute per game defenseman this team ever employed. He turned many games around with his devastating open ice body checks.

Thanks for putting more energy into this series than the Sens have in signing free agents over the years!

lol should I laugh or cry?

That being said, that top-10 is not that bad considering Ottawa is not a "natural" market to attract UFAs

Also, Sens have always been good at drafting and developing players (for the most part) so the need to sign UFAs was lesser than other franchises, let's say Toronto.

I have no idea how we'd have iced an NHL team if we had had Montreal/Toronto level drafting over the years
