Does Harrison Smith really deserve to be in the conversation with Earl Thomas?

I haven't seen him or the Vikes play since Week 1. Regardless the answer for me is Thomas.

I'll take Earl Thomas. His contributions are more often unseen, but his deep coverage ability is so good you can pretty much build an entire secondary around him. There haven't been any other world-class talents in their secondary over the last few years, not even Sherman. He makes them all that much better.

it's easily Thomas

There might be other guys in the convo, but I don't think any of them is better than Thomas

The second best safety would be a more difficult conversation.

I'd have no problem with Harrison Smith. Really liked him coming out of college, and him being a Golden Domer, that's tough for me to admit.

No love for Reshad Jones? Constantly graded by PFF as one of the best all around safeties in the game.

I believe he at least deserves to be in the conversation. Thomas is probably the best but Jones is up there.
